LANCASTERIAN PARENT GROUP - UPDATES AND CHANGES 
 
 
This is to update all parents about parent group.  We now meet 2 Tuesdays per term, where we have various speakers on different topics and well being activities, plus a brew and a biscuit and a chance to meet other parents.  Then for the other weeks of the term you are able to come to our Tasty Treats Cafe which is run by the students in high school and this takes place on a Friday in our high school hall. The group that is on a Tuesday starts at 9.30am and finishes at 11am.  The Cafe runs from 10am to 11am.  The dates for both Parent Group on a Tuesday and Friday are below.  It would be lovely to see you and for you to meet other parents and share stories and support each other. THE DATES FOR THIS TERMS MEETINGS ARE AS FOLLOWINGS - 
 
Tuesday 29th April 2025 - Travel Trainers - This will be to advise what the travel trainers do to support our children to become more independent when travelling on public transport.  
 
Friday May 2nd - Cafe

Tuesday 13th May - Lifted - Local Wellbeing group will be visiting to tell parents what they offer.

Tuesday 10th June - A walk in the local area. Grab a brew and biscuit afterwards.

School Holiday Events

Previous holiday events:

We ran our first school holiday event over the summer.  A group of staff and parents/ carers met at Wythenshawe Park for a Simply Cycling session and a picnic in the park afterwards. It was lovely to see everyone and we hope to run more events like this during other holidays!

October Half Term was Kite Flying in Heaton Park: Or it would have been if they'd been any wind! We had a good time on the play equipment instead...
